On-Site Polling

On-site surveys that capture what attendees think in the moment.
Then we turn it into clear KPIs you can act on fast.

What We Do

Persona Table runs intercept research and exit surveys at trade shows, conferences and other live events to measure:

  • Attendee profile (who showed up, buyer influence, intent)

  • Experience + satisfaction (what worked, what didn’t, why)

  • Sponsor/exhibitor impact (engagement, recall, value proof)

What You Get

Deliverables you can actually use:

  • Executive-ready topline (fast read on the headline KPIs)

  • Full report deck (findings, drivers, recommendations)

  • Sponsor/exhibitor-friendly summaries (optional one-pagers)

  • Raw data + crosstabs (optional)

What We Measure

KPIs we can capture on-site:

Attendee quality

  • Role / seniority / function

  • Industry + category involvement

  • Buyer influence + purchase timeline

Experience

  • Overall satisfaction + NPS

  • Drivers analysis (what’s pushing NPS up/down)

  • Programming + session feedback

  • Friction points (wayfinding, queues, staffing, etc.)

Sponsor + exhibitor value

  • Awareness / recall of activations

  • Booth/activation engagement

  • Consideration / intent lift (self-reported)

  • Lead quality signals (self-reported)

Why Intercept Research?

Post-event email surveys miss a lot of the room. Intercepts help you capture reactions while the experience is fresh—especially for large shows with multiple halls, sponsors, and programming tracks.

Live Event Polling

Common Use Cases

Popular ways clients use this:

  • Prove sponsor/exhibitor ROI and improve renewals

  • Validate attendee profile for sales materials (“who attends”)

  • Identify what to fix next year to improve satisfaction

  • Pressure-test new activations, layouts, or programming

Trade Show Event Measurement

How it Works

  • Align on goals (attendee experience, sponsor value, exhibitor value, or all three)

  • Build a short survey (typically 2–6 minutes) + sampling plan

  • Fieldwork on-site across zones/time blocks (to avoid bias)

  • QC + analysis

  • Deliver reporting you can use for next-year improvements + sponsor storytelling

FAQ

Q: How many completes do you typically collect?
A: Depends on event size and cuts needed, but we’ll recommend a target based on your goals. Typically we recommend over n:100

Q: Can you segment results by attendee type?
A: Yes. Role, seniority, buyer influence, day/time, hall/zone, and more. The ability to segment with statistical significance however depends largely on the sample size and attendees.

Q: Can this be white-labeled?
A: Yes. If you’re an organizer, agency, or internal insights team, we can deliver under your brand.

Q: How quickly do you report?
A: Of course! We're very accommodating. We can provide a fast topline usually within 24 hours (or less) if needed, and then a deeper read with recommendations later.
